In the India budget, the oil industry expected that a duty would be imposed on the import of oil or the government would stop the import of DOC but nothing like this happened in the budget. The process of import continues.

 

In last year's budget, the government announced the National Palm Oil Mission. Nothing was said about the next allocation or oil mission in this budget.

 

Now duty-free imports will continue till March 31, due to which all the big stockists are importing more and more quantity, in such a situation there will be more pressure on the market.

Nepal Edible Oil Industry expected that India government would imposed 15% duty on the import of oil but nothing like this happened in the Budget.  Now let's see prices will continue to fall down or will go up following international market position.
