Arrival of sugar is less in the market.

Sugar is being sold in the market at Rs 125 in Bigmart, Bhatbhateni, where as in retail market sugar is being sold at 140+per kg and in wholesale 130/kg.

New Sugar production will start in November.

The India Government has banned the export of sugar.

Due to the festival season, there is a lot of demand and purchasing in the markets.

It is estimated that prices may increase further till Tihar, Diwali.

As the festive season has started, local shops and millers are stocking up in huge quantities.
