नेपालमा आर्थिक वर्ष २०७५/७६ मा २१ करोड ७८ लाख ७० हजार रुपैयाँबराबरको ७ लाख ७९ हजार ४६२ किलो ओखर आयात भएको थियो, जुन गत वर्षको तुलनामा ६ करोड ६४ लाख ९० हजार ४४ हजार ५७ किलोमा बढेको हो।

विभागको तथ्यांकले देखाएको छ कि यस अवधिमा ७२ करोड ४६ लाख ५६ हजार ५६ किलो सुकुमेल आयात भएको थियो, जुन २०७९/८० मा १ अर्ब ३९ करोड ८० लाख ५४ हजार १० लाख ७४ हजार ६९६ किलोमा बढेको हो।

The Indian government has allowed sugar exports to Nepal and Bhutan. The quantity of sugar allowed for export is 25,000 Metric Tons per country. The permission to export has been granted to the National Cooperative Exports Ltd (NCEL).
